  • Scope: The scope of work is defined by the written estimate, invoice, work order, or documented communications.
  • Change Orders: If the scope changes (e.g., concealed damage, code requirements, additional parts/labor), we will communicate the changes and associated costs. Work may be paused until approval is received.

3. Scheduling, Access, and Site Conditions

  • Appointments: Scheduled times are approximate. Delays may occur due to traffic, emergencies, prior jobs, or supply availability.
  • Access: You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area, including required clearances, entry permissions, and any building/HOA approvals where applicable.
  • Utilities: You are responsible for ensuring required utilities (water, power, gas) are available unless otherwise agreed.
  • Hazards: If unsafe conditions are present (e.g., mold, asbestos, vermin, electrical hazards, structural instability), we may refuse or stop work until the condition is addressed.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the issue and property conditions.
  • Disclose known prior repairs, recurring issues, or relevant site constraints.
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area for safety.
  • Secure valuables and fragile items near the work area.

5. Pricing, Payments, and Fees

  • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of Services unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Methods: Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit, e-transfer, cash, or other methods as communicated at the time of service.
  • Deposits: Certain work may require a deposit prior to scheduling or ordering materials.
  • Past Due: Past due balances may be subject to reasonable administrative fees and/or interest where permitted by law.
  • Collections: You may be responsible for reasonable collection costs, including legal fees, where permitted.

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Show

  • Rescheduling: Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
  • No-Show / Late Cancellation: If we arrive and cannot access the property, or if a cancellation occurs with insufficient notice, a service fee may apply to cover scheduling and dispatch costs (where permitted).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Howe 2 Plumbing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from Services is limited to the amount paid for the specific Services giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

Plumbing work may involve opening walls, floors, ceilings, and accessing concealed systems. While we take care to minimize disruption, you acknowledge that repairs may reveal pre-existing damage, code deficiencies, or hidden conditions that are not caused by Howe 2 Plumbing.

9. Emergency Services

If emergency Services are offered, response times are not guaranteed and depend on technician availability, weather, road conditions, and job volume. If you are experiencing severe flooding, fire, gas smell, or other dangerous conditions, contact local emergency services and/or your utility provider immediately.

10. Photos, Documentation, and Communications

We may take photos or videos of work areas for documentation, training, quality assurance, or to explain issues and repairs. We will avoid capturing personal information where reasonable. If you do not consent to on-site documentation, please tell us before work begins.
